The Engine

Whether naturally aspired or turbo charged, Perkins engines are built to deliver. The water cooled, multi-cylinder injection diesel engine is designed for low emission and fuel economy.

The Alternator

 The Perkins generators are fitted with maintenance free Mecc alte alternator. The Mecc Alte ranges of alternators are available from 1-3000KVA. Mecc Alte alternators have a proven track record and a worldwide reputation for high quality, long life and durability. They are internationally re-knowned for built-in quality, reliability, and innovation and are available in 3-phase - Brushless - Electronic regulation (6.5 - 3000kVA / 50Hz-60Hz).

The Canopy

The sound attenuated canopy ensures low noise levels. We provide two variants of canopies; the silent canopy and the super silent canopy. The canopy is hoist as well as fork lift ready with a sturdy base. Apart from reducing attenuation, the canopy is designed to direct air flow to the generator.

Fuel Tank

The base fuel tank usually has a seven hour capacity, depending on the engine size and the load. Auxilliary tanks are however fitted as an additional diesel source for prolonged hours of operation.

The Control Module

The Deep Sea Electronics control module is designed to automatically start and stop the generator set. The module monitors the engine and provides protection features.
